§ Mr. Spearingasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will adopt as normal practice the placing on the Order Paper of the House the notices relating to Government business not later than two sitting days prior to the relevant debate.
§ Mr. St John-StevasIt would not be practicable to lay down any hard and fast rule of this kind. We shall continue to follow the normal practice of successive Governments.
