§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe closure is among proposals contained in a side roads order relating to Cambridgeshire county council's scheme to construct a new road on the line of the disused railway between Chatteris and March. The order has been submitted to my right hon. Friend for confirmation. As there are objections, it may be necessary to hold a local public inquiry before he decides whether to confirm the order, but in any case we will consider all representations before reaching a decision.
