§ Mr. Jim Lester[pursuant to his reply, 28 July 1980-c. 462.]: All the facilities of the Manpower Services Commission are available to those seeking employment or the opportunity to acquire a skill. I understand from the Manpower Services Commission that, where possible, people who are about to be made redundant are interviewed in advance of their local jobcentre so that detailed information on employment opportunities and training facilities can be given and any problems discussed.
