§ Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list in the Official Report those local authorities which have submitted schemes for further education pursuant to section 42 of the Education Act 1944 and those which have failed to do so.
§ Dr. BoysonThese schemes were required to be submitted by 31 March 1948 45W or as soon as possible thereafter. Detailed information is not readily available but my right hon. and learned Friend understands that all but seven of the then local education authorities had complied by the end of 1950, and that the rest followed thereafter.
