§ Baroness WOOTTON of ABINGERasked Her Majesty's Government:
Whether a man who has sexual intercourse with his adopted daughter is guilty of the crime of incest; and if so, how many, if any, persons have been prosecuted for incest in such circumstances in the past five years, and what sentences were imposed on those found guilty.
§ Lord BELSTEADI understand that such conduct would not be incest; it might, depending on the girl's age, be another offence.
