§ Mr. Trotterasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the total revenue from stamp duties for 1978–79 and 1979–80; what is his estimate for 1980–81; and if he will give an analysis of these figures as between stamp duties on property transactions, stamp duties on share transfers and other stock exchange transactions, capital duty and stamp duties on other transactions, respectively.
