§ 53. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses and other ancillary psychiatric workers are employed at Her Majesty's prison, Grendon Underwood.
§ Mr. BrittanThe medical staff at Grendon comprises seven medical practitioners, five of whom hold post graduate qualifications in psychiatry. In addition there are two appointed visiting consultant psychiatrists. There are five psychologists. There are no psychiatric nurses as such, although several of the hospital officers hold psychiatric nursing qualifications and there are no members of staff who fall within the description "ancillary psychiatric workers".
