asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) how many oil companies have appealed against the Inland Revenue's market valuation of their North Sea oil for tax purposes; and whether they were successful;

(2) what is the period of time allowed between the production of North Sea oil and gas and payment of corporation tax; and how many companies currently are in breach of such agreement;

(3) what is the period of time allowed between production of North Sea oil and gas and payment of petroleum revenue tax: and how many companies currently are in breach of such agreement on payments.
