§ Dr. BoysonIt is not my Department's general policy to provide long term financial support for the running costs of voluntary bodies. When this particular body was set up it received a three-year pump-priming grant from the Department to help it establish a firm financial base. Exceptionally, that grant was extended for a fourth year. Subsequently the association was offered grant aid for two years specifically to assist with the costs of its publications. The period of that grant has now ended.
