§ Mr. Michael MarshallThe measures which the Government are taking to help the shipbuilding and ship repair industries were set out in the statement made by my hon. Friend the Minister of State on 23 July 1979. The future of individual yards depends on their success in winning new orders on acceptable financial terms. The Ministry of Defence has announced that it will be chartering a new fleet oiler to be built at Cammell Laird subject to the negotiation of satisfactory terms.
