§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on his meeting with Mr. Thomas Orr, Grand Master of the Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland, on 7 May, with direct reference to discussions of that meeting concerning the Act of Settlement.
§ Mr. Humphrey AtkinsI met representatives of the Imperial Grand Orange Council, including Mr. Orr, at Stormont Castle on 7 May 1980. We discussed a range of topics. In response to a question about the Act of Settlement, I said that I knew of no constitutional changes in the offing.
