§ Sir Geoffrey HoweThe letter to which the hon. Member refers was received on 20 June. In reply I explained that the Inland Revenue were undertaking further consultations on benefits in kind and that it would seem appropriate to defer any discussions with the ASTMS until after the response to the Revenue's consultative paper had been considered.
