§ 29. Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what answer he proposes to give to the Scottish fishermen in response to their latest request for assistance.
§ Mr. YoungerThe Government are considering urgently the representations which they have received from the fishing 177W industry on its financial situation and have already met the various organisations to enable them to amplify their case. At this stage I cannot anticipate the outcome. The industry is meantime continuing to benefit from the £3 million package of aid which we introduced in April.
