HC Deb 07 July 1980 vol 988 cc27-8W
Mr. Brotherton

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster on how many occasions the printing of parliamentary papers has been subject to industrial action to date in the current year; what alternative arrangements have been in operation to ensure that those papers are published; and what consideration has been given to the use of printers outside the United Kingdom.

Mr. St. John-Stevas

Sporadic action in individual printing establishments by the

other provision in the Independent Broadcasting Authority Act empowers us to establish broadcasting services. This is a matter for the authority.
