§ Mr. Lathamasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether 68W he will make a statement on the discussion at the Council of Education Ministers in Brussels on 27 June regarding the study of Europe in schools; what decisions, if any, were reached; and whether he informed them that he had no power to require teachers to include any such studies, or material relating to such studies, in classroom curricula, and that he had no intention of seeking such powers.
