§ Mr. McQuarrieasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take steps to increase the tax relief ceiling on mortgages from £25,000 to £50,000 in view of the effect the present ceiling is having on housebuilders and prospective house purchasers throughout the United Kingdom.
