§ Mr. Parryasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will give 692W consideration to the appointment to the Liverpool area health authority (teaching) of persons living in the postal districts of Liverpool 3, 5 and 8; (2) if he will publish in the Official Report the names, addresses and occupations of the Liverpool area health authority (teaching).
§ Dr. VaughanMembers of area health authorities are appointed by regional health authorities and local authorities, in this case the Mersey regional health authority and the Liverpool city council, and not by Ministers. Up-to-date information on current membership is not held centrally and I have asked the regional administrator of the Mersey regional health authority to let the hon. Member have the information requested direct.
