§ Mr. Winnickasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will move to refer to a procedure committee the matter of oral questions to the Prime Minister, and propose that it should examine a system of rationing in view of the large number of questions currently submitted.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasThe arrangements for questions to the Prime Minister were examined in detail by the Procedure Committee in 1976–77. I do not consider that a further reference would be justified at this stage.
