§ Mr. RaisonOver 40 organisations representing the interests of immigrants have at various times since the publication of the Green Paper in April 1977 put forward comments on how the law of nationality should be changed. The suggestions they have made have covered most of the suggestions put forward for discussion in the Green Paper.

§ Mr. RaisonRepresentations have been received from people connected with the Governments of several overseas territories, chiefly about the scheme of new citizenships to replace that of the United Kingdom and Colonies put forward for discussion in the Green Paper of April 1977.
