§ 24. Mr. Alexander W. Lyonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is satisfied with the conduct of the governor and prison staff in the disturbance at Wormwood Scrubs last August.
§ Mr. BrittanMy right hon. Friend has asked the regional director of the South-East region of the prison department to produce a comprehensive report on the incident in D wing of Wormwood Scrubs prison on 31 August. Until we have received that report it would not be appropriate to comment on any individual aspects of the incident.
