§ Mr. LuceThe question of assets left by United Kingdom citizens in Uganda has been raised with the Ugandan authorities on several occasions. The Ugandan Government have undertaken to set up a Compensation Commission to deal with claims, and the Minister of Finance has given assurances that the necessary legislation will be tabled by the end of February.
