§ Mr. Allan Robertsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what requests he has received for an investigation by the district auditor into the costs paid by Colchester council on a contract for 27 homes in the Golden Noble Hill area of Colchester.
§ Mr. KingI have received one such request from a member of Colchester district council. He has been told that it would be open to him to take the matter up with the district auditor if he wishes to pursue it. I see no need for any other kind of special investigation, and I have no powers to direct one.
