§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will outline the form of the Government's review of help available to assist consumers with their fuel bills which he announced on 16 January, indicating which Government 780W Departments and specialist voluntary organisations are to be involved and the likely time scale.
§ Mr. Norman LamontThe Government are looking at the whole range of measures available to assist poorer consumers with their fuel bills. All Government Departments with an interest will be involved, and we shall also be taking account of the views expressed by individuals and organisations outside Government. It is too early to say when the review will be complete.
