§ Mr. John MacKayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is satisfied with the operation of the law relating to planning, in so far as it provides for a privileged right of objection for the Countryside Commission for Scotland.
§ Mr. RifkindThe commission has no such right, though it is given the opportunity of making recommendations in areas of special scenic importance. If my hon. Friend would let me know of any particular case he has in mind I shall be glad to look into it.
