§ Mr. Mark CarlisleThe Assessment of Performance Unit's first report, of a survey of the mathematical performance of 13,000 11-year olds in England and Wales, has been published today by Her Majesty's Stationery Office, price £5. A separate report about the performance of pupils in Welsh schools is being published concurrently by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales. Copies of both reports are available in the Vote Office and in the Library of the House.
