£ Stationery 2,300 Travel and Subsistence 935 Installation of Telephones 590 Transport and preparation of furniture and office equipment 5,000 Staff were detached temporarily from their parent departments to make preparations for the conference at no extra cost to public funds other than those mentioned above. Furniture and office equipment were drawn from Government stores and will be returned or used elsewhere when the conference ends.
