§ Mr. Hendersonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland, in view of the recently revised toll charges, if he will estimate how many years it will now take to pay off the debt on the Tay road bridge.
§ Mr. RifkindI understand that the Tay road bridge joint board has agreed to recommend to my right hon. Friend a revised schedule of tolls, but it has not yet submitted its proposals. It is therefore not possible at this stage to make an estimate.
