§ Mr. WhitelawThe Local Government Boundary Commission for England has not yet begun its review of the electoral arrangements for the county of Merseyside. I therefore cannot say when I am likely to receive its final proposals. I hope that the Parliamentary Boundary Commission for England will have completed the task of reviewing constituencies, including those in Merseyside, by the end of 1981.
