§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe cash limit for Welsh housing (WO/LA1) has been reduced from £155.0 million to £153.3 million for this year. The decrease takes account of the £1.5 million overspend on the cash limit in 1978–79, which was noted in Cmnd. 7681. The balance of the decrease is to offset additional expenditure outside the housing programme on works to remedy the effects of subsidence.
