asked the Lord Privy Seal when he proposes to arrange for the £324,000 outstanding in rates due in respect of Rhodesia House to the city of Westminster council to be paid by the Crown Colony of Southern Rhodesia.

Until 1969, when the premises ceased to be used for diplomatic purposes, the Treasury Valuer madeex gratia contributions in lieu of rates. We shall be consulting interested authorities about the liabilities for rates since that time.
