§ Mr. BrittanThere are no plans for mixed detention centres. The hon. Member may have in mind the proposal to open three boys' attendance centres to girls on an experimental basis. These centres are at Lichfield, Nottingham and Hull, and will be available for girls and boys aged 10 and under 17. The numbers attending will depend on the number of orders made by the courts.
