§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what action he proposes to take about Lothian region's failure to carry out a survey and to publish a traffic regulation order under the Heavy Commercial Vehicles (Controls and Regulations) Act.
§ Mr. RifkindI understand that Lothian regional council has carried out a survey as required by the Act, but has not yet decided whether to bring forward specific proposals. I do not therefore propose at present to take any specific action.
