Mr. Ron Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what has been the total number of domiciliary visits over the last three years in the east district, Cumbria area health authority, by consultants and others, up to and including December;

(2) what is the waiting list in the east district, Cumbria area health authority, for specific cases relating to hernia, arthritic hip operations, gynaecological consultations and family planning, respectively; and if he will make a statement;

(3) if, in respect of the east district, Cumbria area health authority, he will give details comparing the figure for nurses funded establishment against those in post expressed as full-time equivalents, and the number employed over the last four years up to and including December together with the number of nurses in training schools in the area over the same period.
