§ Mr. WhitelawMy Department is contributing £62,500 to the Government grant to the United Kingdom Association for the International Year of the Child, which undertook responsibility for the main direction of the national response to the Year.
Remands of girls under 17 to prison department establishments under certificates of unruliness have been prohibited since 1 March 1979. No follow-up studies are planned.
