The Committee on Medical Aspects to Food Policy endorsed the recommendations of the Working Party on the Fortification of Food with Vitamin D that milk, butter and flour of any type including chappati flour should not be fortified with Vitamin D and that the fortification of margarine and of other proprietary foods which are fortified with Vitamin D should be continued but not increased.
