Mr. Leighton

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether, further to his reply of 19 November 1979,

and tobacco in 1978 was £17,952 million, £7,471 million and £3,933 million respectively. Estimates for the 1979 year are not available for volume of supplies or consumer expenditure. I regret that it is not possible to provide the remaining information requested without disproportionate cost.

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will circulate in the Official Report a table showing (a) the volume of common agricultural policy commodities sold by other EEC countries to the United Kingdom in 1978 and 1979 and (b) the corresponding figures for United Kingdom exports to other EEC countries.
