§ Mr. David MitchellAs at the end of November 1979 the following assistance had been offered under section 8 of the Industry Act to the ferrous and non-ferrous foundry industries:
Million Ferrous foundry industry scheme £68.3 Non-ferrous foundry industry scheme £23.6 Assistance has also been offered under other schemes under the Industry Act 1972, but it is not possible to identify the projects concerned without disproportionate effort, nor—since the foundries are usually only part of the project—would it be possible to identify the amount of assistance attributable to the foundries.
