asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what were the total amounts at 1 January covered by certificates of indemnity issued by the national museums, galleries and libraries in Scotland, in respect of objects on long-term loans to their permanent collections, broken down to the individual institutions and recording the comprehensive total for all the institutions together.
