§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will confirm that where subordinate Mines and Quarries Act legislation refers to notification to district inspectors such notification is effective by reference to any health and safety inspector holding a full warrant.
§ Mr. Mayhew[pursuant to his reply, 22 February 1980, c. 390]: Whilst it would be legally sufficient for such notification to be given to any health and safety inspector holding a full warrant, administrative arrangements are in force to ensure that any notice received is referred to the appropriate mines and quarries inspector.
