§ Mr. HurdThere are a number of parallel discussions. They include preparations for a new international development strategy under the aegis of the United Nations, and preliminary discussions of a round of "global negotiations" on international economic co-operation for development, which will probably be launched at a special session of the United Nations General Assembly opening on 25 August.
