HC Deb 26 February 1980 vol 979 c533W
30. Mr. Renton

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will encourage the use of family planning clinics as a more effective and cheaper method of providing family planning advice than reliance on general practitioners.

Dr. Vaughan

Our policy is that family planning services should be available from clinics and from general practitioners so that, as far as possible, women are free to choose the most suitable source of advice.
