§ Mr. Prentice[pursuant to his reply, 21 February 1980, c. 322–3]: Local appeal tribunals constituted under part III of the Social Security Act 1975 deal with all types of appeals and questions arising under that Act. The number of cases dealt with over a period depends on the number of sittings arranged and this will vary according to the volume of appeals received in the individual tribunal areas.
