§ Mr. StanleyThe latest available figures for the numbers of inquiries received and dwellings sold in the second generation new towns under the terms of the current consent, introduced in May 1979, compared with the current rented stock are as follows:
being made by the local authorities under their contingency plans for leading with chemicals washed ashore. I believe the measures being taken to clear beaches and to warn the public are coping with the present problem and I am now considering what further steps, if any, are needed.
