HC Deb 22 February 1980 vol 979 c582W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Energy what study his Department has made of the volume of evidence submitted to the Snowdon working party on the integration of the disabled which has recently been published by the National Fund for Research into Crippling Diseases; what action he intends to take; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. David Howell

The volume of evidence submitted to the Snowdon working party on the integration of the disabled and published recently will be valuable in assisting the appreciation of the problems associated with the disabled in every sphere of life.

My Department is anxious to play a full part in finding suitable posts for disabled people and we shall continue our efforts to increase the number of 18 registered disabled persons we currently employ.
