Mr. Frank R. White

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many children were being looked after in (a) local authority homes, (b) voluntary homes and (c) private children's homes at the latest convenient date in each of the local authority districts of Greater Manchester; and how this compares with figures for the previous five years.
