asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will refer back to the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council its definition of pneumoconiosis and leukaemia, respectively, with a view to widening the conditions it recommended.

On the subject of leukaemia, I refer the right hon. Gentleman to my reply to the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, North-East (Mrs. Short) on 20 February. As regards pneumoconiosis, the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council last reported on this matter in 1975. I have no plans at present to make a further reference to it on the subject.
