§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Prime Minister if she will discuss with President Carter the nature of British participation in the United States sponsored international package of military assistance to Pakistan, in the light of the Afghanistan invasion.
§ The Prime MinisterIn discussions with us and others the Americans have expressed the hope that other countries will also contribute to assisting Pakistan. We are increasing our economic aid. I am not aware of any "international package of military assistance to Pakistan".
