§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for Energy how many objections, and from whom, he has received to his proposals to introduce a system of energy labelling on electrical goods.
§ Mr. John MooreI have so far received comments and constructive criticism from one association of manufacturers. A consultative document on energy labelling to be issued soon will outline the Government's proposals and reflect the informal discussions already held with consumers, manufacturers and standards bodies. All interested parties will be invited to comment on the proposals.
