§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeMy hon. Friend's suggestion would not meet the wishes of objectors, many of whom questioned the need for this proposed section of motorway. Neither would it commend itself to those who agreed with the Department's proposal. The final decision will have to depend on a judgment of all the objections and representations and a consideration of the report of the inspector who conducted the public inquiry.
