§ Q61. Mr. Dalyellasked the Prime Minister if she intends to make further representations to the Government of Pakistan in connection with their linkage of acceptance of the non-proliferation Treaty with parallel action by India.
§ The Prime MinisterAs I explained to the hon. Member in my reply on 8 February, the United Kingdom has worked hard to encourage wider adherence to the Non-Proliferation Treaty. We shall continue to press for this in discussions with the Governments concerned in the Sub-continent and elsewhere.
